Information About Airport Security Force (ASF)
ASF was first created in 1975 and was under civil aviation. Still, in the later years due to facing new challenges in the security of facilities, and based on needs, the department was put under the ministry of defense. The primary purpose of ASF is to guard the airports of Pakistan, as there are over 12 international airports in Pakistan. In addition to this, the ASF task is to protect the aircraft in the ground, and also the civil aviation buildings.
