Contour Internship – DevOps Engineer

The Position

We are seeking a Azure DevOps, to work out of the Contour Software office, working as part of the resource-center team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Up to 4 years of experience working in a DevOps role.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and release management.
• Experience or knowledge of SQL server DBA.
• Experience in using/managing source control like git.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployments tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy.
• Experience in managing virtual machines, Windows servers, and their various services.
• Experience creating and maintaining scripts like PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Experience in networking infrastructure and popular networking protocols.
• Experience working with configuration management systems.
• Experience or knowledge of infrastructure and hosting solutions security.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders .

Preferences:

• Experience or knowledge of containers and container orchestration especially Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience or knowledge of public cloud providers especially MS Azure.

Nice to have:

Experience or knowledge of the issue and project tracking, documentation tools especially Jira, Confluence.
