Job Purpose

Maintenance Manager has to ensure the timely maintenance / calibration activities of equipment’s and instruments at site. Along with that, the other responsibilities are to ensure validation activities take place on time, OEE deliverance, management of site R&M and engineering OPEX, process improvement projects in compliance with QMS, GMP, Regulatory & EHS standards.

Education, Experience & Skills

B.E (Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics /Industrial).

5-7 years of managerial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Assign resource as per operation and production need.

Repair and maintenance expense reduction

Proper utilization of CAPEX

Key Responsibilities

  • To organize, develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plan in coordination with planning and production departments.
  • To ensure availability of spare machine parts in engineering store to cope with any breakdown.
  • Plan and execute the internal building repair and maintenance system. Monitor engineering related risks assessment procedures as well as self-inspections.
  • Conduct, develop, manage, and review the calibration activities and its adherence to schedule.
  • Manage validation activities including CSV (Computer System Validation) of all equipment procured to site.
  • Lead continuous improvement at site through achieving and sustaining annual OEE target for site. Perform analysis of key losses; develop and execute action plan for sustained OEE increase in collaboration with production and GPS.
  • Identify and prioritize replacement or upgradation of processes, equipment, and components at site that can deliver high return on investment.
  • Ensure safety issues are appropriately addressed and mitigated.
  • Being Technical authority and SME for Machinery Safety, ensure all machines are compliant with GES 110.

Strategic Planning

  • Analyze the production equipment’s operations and provide a plan for the improvement of process efficiency and robustness.

Compliance and Procedural Implementations

  • Ensure adequate selection, training, and development of staff to achieve their maximum potential to meet business objective.
  • User performance development plans effectively for better performance and development of teams
  • Ensure compliance with Global GSK policies and procedures comprising of GMP, ETCM, TPs, BCP, EHS, GQP and QMS policies.
