Job Purpose

The role is responsible to design and implement NFL’s Agriculture project covering areas of business planning, forecasting, commercial and contracts management and stakeholders management from the CEOs Office.

Furthermore, the role will be responsible to research modern practices in agriculture in order to recommend projects/initiatives for the agri division. As a part of the role, the incumbent will develop feasibility studies to justify investment into agri projects and executing these with the help of external and internal stakeholders.

Job Description

• Work closely with Chief of Staff (Project Head Agri) to establish NFL’s contractual farming by working with various external and internal stakeholders
• Responsible for planning and implementing a quick scale up strategy to take NFL agri division
• Research and identify new business opportunities in agricultural space
• Follow industry trends locally and internationally to improve agri business model
• Be the key commercial support for development and execution of contracts with various agri stakeholders
• Ability to understand farm dynamics, identify problems in the value chain and initiate projects

Qualification

Graduate degree in Finance, Economics or General Management though candidates with other degrees are also urged to apply.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as part of a business development/strategy team.
• Prior management of value chain related projects
• Incumbent must be passionate about corporate farming and revolutionizing agriculture landscape

require strong oratory / speaking skills.

Interpersonal skills:

require strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with internal and external stakeholders. Possess the confidence to deal with senior executives as well.

Digital skills:

Familiarity with information technology, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.
