Job Brief

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for helping businesses leverage data and identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends, as well as recognize potential issues and offer solutions. Their work is aimed towards improving efficiency, increasing productivity, and driving profits for the business. Will also be assisting Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will be required to help them understand data analysis and reports generated by the department.

What You’ll Do

  • Learning and fully understanding the data landscape in databases and applications.
  • Using and developing data collection processes.
  • Reviewing and validating data.
  • Gathering end user reporting and dashboard requirements.
  • Developing dashboards and creating reports and supporting users with them.
  • Communicating insights to management.
  • Assist in the deployment of data to the data warehouse using ETL tools.
  • Monitor analytics and metrics results.
  • Implement new data analysis methodologies.
  • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies.
  • Monitor analytics and metrics results.

What You Know

  • 3+ years of experience implementing enterprise-scale reporting systems.
  • Analytical skills to process large amounts of information.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Intermediate SQL, formulating data queries, Coding data, and VBA experience – Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills to effectively use software to analyze non/financial.
  • Attention to detail when collecting data and reviewing data fluctuations and anomalies.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business information system, computer science or related field. An equivalent combination of experience, education, and training will be considered.
