Job Brief
The company is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join the team. As a QA Automation Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of the software products of the clients.
What You’ll Do
· Designing and developing test automation scripts.
· Perform test automation for both frontend UI and API
· Ensure full traceability between test scripts, results, and client requirements
· Collaborate with other teams who are responsible for software engineering
· Collaborate with other testing teams for knowledge sharing and technology unification
· Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines
· Report bugs/errors discovered per standardized tools and processes
· Support Testing and quality activities within Agile delivery
· Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.
What You Know
·
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
.
·
Must Have:
· Experience in
Mobile Apps Test Automation
including planning, script development & maintenance
· Strong knowledge of
JavaScript
or other scripting languages
· Excellent programming and debugging skills
· Experience with test automation tools and libraries such as Puppeteer, WebDriver, JEST, etc
· Experience with data structures
· Must have worked on both UI and API automation
· Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills. Attention to detail, thoroughness and strong ownership of work
· Strong problem solving skills, ability to think outside the box and explore multiple ways to solve the problems

Nice Have:
· Experience with CodeceptJS with Puppeteer
· Experience with performance testing tools like Locust
· Experience testing web/eCommerce applications constructed using modern web frameworks such as React, node, typescript and related technologies
· Knowledge of any Database Language
· Familiarity with emerging web platform best-practices, including progressive web applications, service workers, network optimization, and performance optimization
Education
· BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
