A well-established company on a mission to safeguard and improve the world’s energy infrastructure industry is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of delivering new features and products for the platform while working closely with a cross-functional team of professionals. The Silicon Valley-based company combines the latest AI, Predictive Analytics, and Actionable Insights to help with seamless infrastructure inspections. The company has managed to secure more than $1 mn in funding so far. This position requires 5+ hours of overlap with the South America time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Synchronize with the front-end to ensure the entire team is on the same page
- Work closely with the engineering team in all aspects of web development
- Ability to accept accountability and work within tight deadlines
- Participate in virtual brainstorming sessions with the product and engineering teams
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
- Extensive experience in Python
- Prolific experience in SQL and NoSQL
- Nice to have experience in PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS cloud services
- Experience in Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in verbal and written English
