A well-established company that is providing hospitality and travel services on their world-class platform is looking for a Java Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining user authentication and authorization features. The company’s travel app uses predictive analytics and cutting-edge technology to help users make travel recommendations. The company has managed to secure more than $720mn in funding so far. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help make changes to other peoples’ code
- Develop infrastructure and write code that will run millions of times
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback
- Adapt software to international markets and help with geo-expansion
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- Extensive experience working with Scala
- Nice to have some experience with GCP
- Prior experience working on a multi-country product is nice to have
- Excellent English communication skills
