A U.S.-based e-commerce retailer that offers their company-owned websites and marketplaces to investors so they can buy bullion they actually bear rather than just possessing it on paper is looking for a Senior PHP Developer. The developer will be in charge of efficiently debugging and resolving persistent technical issues. The company is offering investors and customers a wide range of gold, silver, copper, platinum, and palladium products. This position requires a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with the CST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fix bugs and enhance the functionality of the application
- Take charge and contribute to all phases of the development life cycle
- Write dependable, safe, and clean modular code that has passed rigorous testing and evaluation
- Develop, document, and maintain cutting-edge PHP web applications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- 5+ years of experience working with PHP, working knowledge of Laravel is valued
- Working knowledge of WordPress, and WooCommerce
- Prior experience working extensively with e-commerce websites and applications
- Demonstrable experience working with payment gateways like Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and CyberSource
- In-depth knowledge of 3rd party integrations like Plaid and FingerPrint.js
- Fluent in written and spoken English communication
