A U.S.-based company providing customers with customized learning solutions to meet the student’s academic needs is looking for a Lead Front-End Developer. The developer will be responsible for building reusable code and libraries for future use. The company provides consumers with access to live online classes for supplementary educational materials and enrichment. The company has managed to securely raise $100 mn+ during their Series C round of funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the PST and EST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deploy code to production with automation, code coverage, and monitoring
- Mentor junior engineers and guide them through standard development practices
- Ensure high quality code through practicing code reviews and unit tests in an integration environment
- Implement a test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the applications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
- Extensive experience in React
- Deep architecture skills and knowledge of the systems
- Fluent in verbal and written English
