A fast-growing VC-backed company that is currently in its early product development stage is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of setting the standard for future employees and building out the engineering function. The company is creating a platform for customer intelligence that will be sold to other B2B software providers to evaluate customer patterns and data. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working with ambiguity while developing early-stage products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine potential risks and create a backup plan as soon as possible
- Take charge of end-to-end web architecture planning, design, and implementation
- Schedule training sessions and meetings to talk about changes after analyzing current operations
- Keep abreast of market trends and advancements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
- Prolific data engineering experience
- Demonstrable experience working with Node.js and TypeScript
- Nice to have some knowledge of DevOps and data engineering technologies
- Prior experience working on the production system
- Fluent in spoken and written English
