The engineer will be responsible for leveraging new and existing technologies to impact the business meaningfully. The company offers a discovery-based buying experience that is similar to how customers have traditionally made purchases in physical stores. The company has successfully managed to raise more than $1.4bn in funding so far.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build complex, durable software systems that integrate with external systems
- Optimize for short-term execution process and plan for long-term technical fixations
- Build highly-available, robust distributed systems
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Extensive experience in Python and Go/Golang
- Nice to have experience in AWS, Hadoop, and MongoDB
- Experience in GraphQL is preferred
- Fluent in verbal and written English
