The engineer would be responsible for making innovative suggestions to enhance the platform and improve database connections. The company is focused on creating a safe space that would empower newcomers to find advantageous growth opportunities by utilizing spare change on the basis of their financial goals. The business has managed to raise over $506 in its series F round of funding. The selected candidate would be required to provide a 6-7 hour overlap with the U.S. time zones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and enhance existing systems to keep them on par with newer technology
- Collaborate with the Features team to understand system needs
- Streamline the ecosystem by analyzing and upgrading database connections
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Ruby on Rails Engineer
- Robust experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
- Ability to work autonomously with little to no oversight
- Excellent English communication skills
