The selected candidate will be tasked with delivering value on a constant basis to meet the changing needs of the organization’s expanding consumer base. The company’s portal offers access to a wide range of brokerage divisions, up-to-date commercial real estate listings, and banking information to go direct. The company has managed to successfully raise $14mn+ during their Seed round of funding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in various agile ceremonies and continuously deliver value to customers
- Adapt product requirements to API specifications and data structures
- Utilize Java 11+, DynamoDB, RDS, and other tools to create AWS Serverless APIs
- Participate actively in the rewriting and estimating of stories for the product backlog with the product, engineering, and design teams
- Work autonomously and with self-accountability as a member of a remote team that values strong communication
- Engage in research, concept development, and active contribution to the evolution of front-end software engineering practices
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 8+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
- Extensive experience working with Java 11+, DynamoDB, RDS, and AWS Serverless/Lambda framework
- Prior experience building and working with REST/GraphQL APIs
- Demonstrable experience working with Authentication and Authorization providers like Cognito, Auth0, etc.
- Prolific experience with Git and relevant best practices
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Prior experience working within agile teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English
