Information About the Institute of Business Administration (IBA)
Established in 1955, the Institute of Business Administration is one of the oldest business schools in Pakistan. History delineates that the renowned Wharton School of Finance and the University of Pennsylvania funded IBA with technical support. Various professors from America assigned with the task of teaching at the newly opened institute. Moreover, the course contents, the curriculum, the pedagogical tools, and the assessment testing methods developed under the guidance of reputed scholars from these very two institutions. Over the years, IBA Karachi has safeguarded its standards and academic assessment successfully. Precisely, the degrees awarded to the graduating students came under Karachi University’s responsibility.
